Videotapes on Current Economic Issues
Now on videotape you can see and hear in-depth discussions by well-known economists, all experts in their fields and in the mainstream of modern economics. The tapes are produced by the National Economists Club Educational Foundation of Washington, D.C., a nonprofit organization in existence since 1973.
Thousands of our tapes have been purchased by professors and instructors to help in teaching and to stimulate interest in current policy debates. Libraries, businesses and government agencies have used them for a variety of educational purposes.
The tapes, lasting exactly one hour, are of two kinds. Most are PANEL DISCUSSIONS (two or three panelists plus a moderator) followed by a brief question period from the audience. Other tapes are interviews (CONVERSATIONS) with prominent economists.
The PANEL DISCUSSIONS fall under six main categories. Click to see the list of programs within each category.
The CONVERSATIONS are one-on-one interviews with well-known economists (including Nobel Prize winners) concerning their careers as economists, their thoughts on current issues and on the present state of economics. Anyone with an interest in economics--whether a beginning student or full professor--can enjoy these interviews and learn from them. Click on VIDEO TAPES for specific programs.
Tapes are available -- for sale only -- at prices that are quite reasonable. Please use the ORDER FORM provided on this web site.
